Come join the California Historical Society celebrate all things California – and Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo, the celebration of Mexico's victory over invading French troops in 1862, is an important observance because it reflects the changes and developments in Latino communities throughout California. Cinco de Mayo has been celebrated in the state continuously since 1863. Connect, learn, and discuss the future of the great state of California, all while listening to a live DJ and enjoying complementary Cinco de Mayo refreshments.
